How much does a GEO agency cost in Spain (2026)
Quick answer
Figures published in Spain in 2026 put a GEO audit at between €1,000 and €2,500, a fixed-scope project at between €5,000 and €15,000, and a high-end agency at between €3,000 and €10,000 a month. There are also small agencies with lower public prices: from €750 a month in the case of Sourcelift and from €1,200 a month in the case of Rankedora. What makes the difference is the scope, the size of the catalogue and the competition, not the name of the service.
What you pay for when you hire a GEO agency
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is the work of getting ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and search engines with generated answers to name and link to your brand. In practice it looks a lot like SEO: Google’s official guide says that, for its search engine, optimising for AI features is SEO. That is why a good part of what you pay for is well-done SEO, plus a specific measurement layer: what each assistant answers to your customers’ questions and which sources it draws it from.
GEO agency prices in Spain in 2026
These are the public references we found as of 1 November 2026. They can’t be compared to the cent, because each one includes a different scope, and Rankedora is one of the agencies in the table: that is why every figure comes with its source.
| Reference | Audit | Fixed-scope project | Monthly fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Range published in Spain in 2026 (Javadex; the audit figure is also cited by Cyberclick) | €1,000 to €2,500 | €5,000 to €15,000 | €3,000 to €10,000 (high-end agency) |
| Sourcelift (GEO agency) | 390 € | €1,900 (90 days) | From €750 |
| Rankedora (ecommerce only), plans and pricing | €290 (Pro Audit) | Not applicable | €1,200 or €2,500 |
| Traditional SEO (Ahrefs survey of 439 professionals) | – | – | Average of USD 2,917 |
Two quick takeaways. First, the top band (€3,000 to €10,000 a month) corresponds to agencies that work with large companies; a small or medium store has fixed-scope options well below that. Second, a low price is neither good nor bad on its own: what matters is what it includes and how it is measured.
What you get at each rate
- Audit. This is the initial snapshot: what the assistants answer to a battery of buying questions in your sector, which brands appear in your place, which pages the information comes from and which technical or content problems are holding you back. It should end in a prioritised plan, not a PDF of errors.
- Fixed-scope project. This is the execution of that plan over a fixed period, for example 90 days: technical fixes, content, product data and first external mentions. It suits you when you want a bounded result with no monthly commitment.
- Monthly fee. This is the ongoing work: new content, mentions and editorial links, and a monthly measurement repeated with the same questions to see how things evolve. It is what sustains the result, because assistants’ answers change over time.
What makes the price go up or down
- Catalogue size. A catalogue of 200 products and one of 20,000 are not worked on in the same way.
- Languages and countries. Every market adds content, feeds and measurement.
- Sector competition. Ranking in a niche with little competition costs less than in fashion, electronics or supplements.
- Content volume. How many guides, comparisons and product pages are written or rewritten each month.
- Measurement level. Measuring several engines every month with reports that include the full answers takes more hours than a simple count of mentions.
- Who does the work. A senior consultant, a team or a mixed model have different costs. You can compare the options in agency, freelancer or in-house team.
How to know if it is worth it
The sum is simple: additional organic visits × conversion rate × average order value = additional monthly revenue. Then you multiply by your margin to see what is left. An illustrative example with a 1.5% conversion rate and an average order value of €60:
| Scenario | Extra visits per month | Extra revenue | With a 35% margin |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cautious | 2.000 | 1.800 € | 630 € |
| Ambitious | 8.000 | 7.200 € | 2.520 € |
With 2,000 extra visits, a €1,200-a-month plan doesn’t pay for itself; with 8,000, it does. Nobody can guarantee how many visits will arrive or when, but the sum tells you what volume you need for the service to make sense. SEO accumulates, and the visits you win usually hold as long as the content stays current, but here we calculate month by month to be cautious. On the home page you have a calculator with your own numbers.
Warning signs before you pay
- A guarantee that ChatGPT will cite you. No agency controls an engine’s answer. In a Sourcelift test, repeating the same question in Perplexity four minutes later changed its first recommendation.
- No baseline. If they don’t measure before starting, they can’t prove the change.
- Reports with scores and no raw answers. A figure can be dressed up; the full answer from each assistant, with its sources, can’t.
- Bought mentions. Google points out that hunting for fake mentions across the web doesn’t work the way it seems to, because its systems reward quality content and block spam.
- Long lock-in with a vague scope. If the work is effective, there is no need to tie you in.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a GEO audit cost?
The 2026 references put a GEO audit at between €1,000 and €2,500 with mid-range or high-end consultants and agencies. There are agencies with a fixed scope that offer it from €290 to €390. Before comparing prices, compare what is included: questions measured, engines analysed, sources consulted and action plan.
How much does a GEO agency cost per month?
From around €750 a month at small agencies with a fixed scope to between €3,000 and €10,000 a month at high-end agencies. Rankedora’s ecommerce plans cost €1,200 and €2,500 a month, excluding VAT and with no lock-in.
Are GEO and SEO the same thing?
They share the technical and content base. Google says that, in its search engine, optimising for its AI features is SEO. What GEO adds is measuring and working on your presence in assistants such as ChatGPT or Perplexity, whose sources and criteria are less well documented.
Can an agency guarantee that ChatGPT will recommend my store?
No. What can be measured is how often your brand appears, in which engines and with which sources, and how that changes every month.
How long does it take to see the work of a GEO agency?
Technical improvements usually show in weeks, and sustained growth in visits and sales usually arrives between 3 and 6 months. There are no guaranteed timeframes.
